Join CenterPoint magazine as we celebrate the Rising Stars at The 2017 Great New England Credit Union Show! This program recognizes the up and coming stars of the credit union industry.
We received many nominations, which were vetted by an independent panel of judges. We’re pleased to announce that after substantial review, our 2017 “Credit Union Rising Stars” have been chosen! Awards will be distributed at a breakfast event on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Boxboro Regency Hotel & Conference Center in Boxborough, MA.

Keynote Speaker State Senator Jamie Eldridge
State Senator Jamie Eldridge has served as State Senator for the Middlesex and Worcester district since January 2009. Previously, Senator Eldridge served as State Representative for the 37th Middlesex district, after being elected the only Clean Elections candidate to public office in Massachusetts history in November 2002. Since then, Senator Eldridge has focused his energies in the House and in the Senate on enhancing public education, stimulating the economy, promoting campaign and ethics reform, protecting the environment, improving public safety, expanding access to health care, and improving public transportation. Senator Eldridge is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Boston College Law School, where he served as President of the Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) for two years. Prior to his election as State Representative, Jamie worked as a public interest attorney with Merrimack Valley Legal Services in Lowell, a non-profit organization that provides free legal services to the poor and the elderly. As a public interest lawyer, he also worked to help low-income residents with issues of housing, Social Security, disability, and unemployment.
Over the last few months, the Cooperative Credit Union League and CenterPoint magazine have asked member credit unions to nominate individuals they believe are “rising stars” in the profession. Nominees had to meet all of the following requirements:
1. Work in a New England Credit Union
2. Be age 50 or under at any time in 2016
3. Be an outstanding employee, manager, or business leader
4. Be making a notable impact on their institution or within the industry

Credit Union attendees who register to attend the Rising Stars Awards Breakfast will automatically be registered to attend the Great New England Credit Union Show at no additional charge. All others must register separately.
